Hello world!

My name is Sam Clayman, and I founded this blog to catalog my thoughts on one of my favorite topics; value investing. Since I was first introduced to the subject back in high school, it has resonated with me. Through five years of working in finance, first at an investment bank and subsequently at a pair of investment firms, it was consistently the investment philosophy I gravitated toward. As a rising MBA2 at Stanford GSB, I’d like to spend some time over the coming months exploring selected topics within the field in the interest of clarifying and expanding my own thoughts on the matter. I’ve generally found putting pen to paper a helpful way to accomplish that end, and a blog serves as an ideal forum in which to do so. I plan to post as time permits in the coming weeks and months, and feel free to share any thoughts, references or feedback as posts do come online. I hope you enjoy!
